Choice of Emergency Logistics Center Location based on Particle Swarm Optimization

A programming model applied to location selection for an emergency logistics distribution center is established on the basis of shortest time. Then, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is introduced to solve the model. The selection of a distribution center is solved using the discrete PSO algorithm, and the distribution of goods is solved using the traditional PSO algorithm. A C++ program was written to solve the problem and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the solution for the location selection problem.
